_so i guess let’s not shit ourselves- kickstarter failed. the whole thing was a glorious learning experience. it’s painful but it’s also not the end of the world. we’ve launched a ‘we were defeated but we’re still in it to win it’ indiegogo thingy here, so if you contributed previously, you can still do so if you wanna. the prizes are all the same. hopefully we can still get some decent funding. i’m still endlessly tweaking the record. caspar is tweaking the artwork. everybody all tweaking.
Anonymous asked: Hope you don't mind me asking, but what will become of Wilderness if the Eidolon kickstarter doesn't reach goal? Fingers crossed that it does!
_the film will still get made. things will just shift around a little bit. they started working on a plan b if funding didn’t happen, and that helped them explore some things differently. joey’s actually pretty excited about some of those new things. it’s funny how stressful crowd funding can be and how that stress can be so blinding.
the record will still come out, probably during the summer. i’m currently mixing and reworking things. the kickstarter had a similar effect on how i was looking at the record. it’s actually sort of freeing to have the kickstarter monkey off of my back. that kind of thing is pretty much the exact opposite of how my brain works.
caspar sent me the first draft of his artwork about a half hour ago.
no you can’t see it.
yes, it is full wizard mode.
